Work Experience

Dr. Yaseera has a diverse and extensive background. Prior to her current role, she served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Microbiology at Govt. Medical College, Kozhikode. She further honed her skills as a Junior Resident in the same department. Additionally, she has worked as a Medical Officer at both Urban Health Centre, Calicut and MSS Health Centre. Her dedication to healthcare is evident through her involvement with the National Rural Health Mission as a Medical Officer.

As a Clinical Microbiologist ,I am very much interested in infection control activities.I am particularly interested in diagnostic stewardship and antimicrobial stewardship,which involves optimising the use of antibiotics to improve patient outcome and prevent the emergence of antibiotic resistant infections.I am very much passionate about teaching so that I can share my knowledge and experience in the field with others.
