What is precision oncology?
Precision oncology is defined as molecular profiling of tumors to identify targetable alterations for personalized treatment.
Who can avail precision oncology services?
Any adult patient who is diagnosed with cancer in any organ can request for our services .Our team will analyze your clinical and molecular profile before formulating a report on feasibility of targeted therapy.
Our goal is to enable customized treatment for the right patient at the right time with the right drug.
We are the first in the country to initiate a dedicated department and OPD service for precision oncology.
What is Genetic Counseling?
Genetic counseling refers to guidance relating to genetic disorders that a specialized healthcare professional and (genetic counselor) provides is an individual or family.
When is Genetic Counseling required?
If your treating clinician suspects a hereditary component in your cancer type or development, he/she will refer you to our clinic.
What services do we offer under GC?
Once you are referred to the GC clinic, our Cancer Biology & Therapeutics specialist will consult on your case analyze your clinical and family history and will sit with you for a 20 minutes counseling session offered by our registered genetic counselor via Tele –consultation. After the session within a week you will be given a detailed report with advice and next step in testing /treatment.
What are the two types GC services offered in our clinic?
1. Pre-test GC
This session is mandatory before you give your sample (tissue or blood) for a genetic analysis. Our genetic counselor will guide you with details of the test and what is expect when the result is ready
2. Post-test GC
This is done after you receive your genetic test report. Our team will help you understand the finding in the report and will guide you towards the next step in treatment/follow-up

MV RAGHAVAN
The Visionary
Respectfully called MVR, the late MV Raghavan was one of the revolutionary leaders of the Communist movement in Kerala. Born in an ordinary family in Pappinissery, Kannur, his political life began in his early teens. He served two terms as Minister of Co-operation and Ports in Kerala during 1991-1996 and 2001-2006. MVR revolutionized the co-operative sector by taking the people-powered movement to healthcare and education in the State. MV Raghavan realized the role of the co-operative movement in social development and job creation and he was instrumental in setting up various institutions in the state.
